# Source products

> Paginated list of the research products published in a source, or one of its indicators with the plot parameter.

This endpoint has two modes:

* **Product list** (without `plot`): returns the products published in the source, with pagination, sorting and filters.
* **Indicators** (with `plot`): returns the data of one of the source's indicators. See the [indicator catalogue](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/source/plots/overview.md).

## Path parameters

**source\_id** `string` *required*

Source identifier. Example: `6aad68732be7843cde64e41b`.

## Query parameters

**max** `integer` (default: 10)

Results per page (1 to 250).

**page** `integer` (default: 1)

Page number (minimum 1).

**sort** `string` (default: citations\_desc)

Ascending or descending sort criterion, for example `citations_desc`,
`products_asc` or `alphabetical_desc`.

**sort** `string` (default: citations\_desc)

Sort with the format `field_direction`, where the direction is `asc` or
`desc`. Available fields: `citations`, `alphabetical` (by title) and `year`
(publication year). Example: `year_desc`.

**view** `string` (default: full)

Level of detail of the response. `full` returns every field. `summary`
returns only the entity's main fields and, for products, patents and
projects, cuts the author list to 10. Any other value returns `400`.

**fields** `string`

Top-level fields to receive for each product, separated by commas. `id` is
always returned. Nested fields are not supported. Allowed fields: `id`,
`authors`, `titles`, `keywords`, `topics`, `subjects`, `source`, `types`,
`year_published`, `citations_by_year`, `citations_count` and `updated`. A
field outside this list returns `400`. It does not change the results, their
order or `meta.count`. Example: `fields=authors,titles`.

**plot** `string`

Name of the indicator to return. With this parameter the response is the
indicator, without pagination. See the [indicator
catalogue](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/source/plots/overview.md).

### Filters

The same filters as [Search products](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/search/works.md). They also apply to indicators. All of them accept several values separated by commas.

**years** `string`

Year range: minimum and maximum separated by a comma. Example: `2020,2026`.

**product\_types** `string`

Product types. Example: `impactu_Artículo de revista`.

**status** `string`

Open access status. Example: `diamond,gold`.

**topics** `string`

OpenAlex topics (URL). Example: `https://openalex.org/T14483`.

**countries** `string`

Co-authors' countries, by code. Example: `CO`.

**authors\_count** `string`

Number of authors: `5` (exactly), `5-` (5 or more), `-5` (up to 5) or `5-8`
(range).

**authors\_ranking** `string`

Author classification. Example: `Investigador Junior`.

**groups\_ranking** `string`

Group classification. Example: `A1,A`.

**institutions\_type** `string`

Co-authors' institution type (ROR). Example: `education, company`.

The valid options can be looked up in [Source product filters](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/source/get-products-filters.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> If you don't send `max`, `page` or `sort`, `max=10`, `page=1` and
> `sort=citations_desc` apply. If you send `max` and `page` without `sort`,
> `sort=citations_desc` applies.
