# Available source filters

> Options available to filter the source search, with their number of results.

Returns the values you can use in the filters of [Search sources](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/search/sources.md).
The options and their counts depend on the criteria you send: only those that exist within that result are returned.

## Query parameters

All are optional and work the same as in [Search sources](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/search/sources.md). The filters accept several values separated by commas.

**keywords** `string`

Search text (source name).

**source\_types** `string`

Source type. Use the returned `value` (for example, `journal`).

**scimago\_quartiles** `string`

Current Scimago quartile. Example: `Q1,Q2`.

**apc\_range** `string`

APC range in USD: minimum and maximum separated by a comma. Example: `100,2000`.

**status** `string`

Open access route. Use the returned `value` (for example, `open` or
`diamond`).

**publication\_time** `string`

Publication time in weeks: minimum and maximum separated by a comma. Example:
`4,12`.

**license\_type** `string`

License type. Example: `CC BY,CC BY-NC`.

**topics** `string`

OpenAlex topics. Use the returned `value` (URL).

## Response

The response is an object with one field per filter.

### Option lists

**source\_types** `object[]`

Available source types (for example, `journal`).

**properties of each option**

**value** `string`

Value to send in the filter.

**title** `string`

Text to display.

**count** `integer`

Number of sources.

**scimago\_quartiles** `object[]`

Available Scimago quartiles (`Q1`, `Q2`, `Q3`, `Q4`). Same structure as
`source_types`.

**license\_type** `object[]`

Available license types (for example, `CC BY`). Same structure as
`source_types`.

**topics** `object[]`

Available OpenAlex topics. The `value` is the topic URL. Same
structure as `source_types`.

### Ranges

**apc\_range** `object`

APC range in USD.

**properties**

**min\_apc** `number | null`

Minimum APC.

**max\_apc** `number | null`

Maximum APC.

**publication\_time** `object`

Range of publication time in weeks.

**properties**

**min\_weeks** `integer | null`

Minimum time.

**max\_weeks** `integer | null`

Maximum time.

### Option tree

**status** `object[]`

Open access route. The `open` node (Abierto) groups `diamond`, `gold` and
`hybrid` in `children`; `closed` (Cerrado) has no children.

**properties of each node**

**value** `string`

Value to send in the filter.

**title** `string`

Text to display.

**count** `integer`

Number of sources.

**children** `object[]`

Child nodes (may not exist).
