# Project authors

> Returns the list of authors of a research project.

## Path parameters

**project\_id** `string` *required*

Project identifier. Example: `6ab4ac4e5418a51e324cc06c`.

## Query parameters

**view** `string` (default: full)

Level of detail. With `summary`, each author carries only `id`, `full_name`,
`type` and `affiliations`, and fields without data are left out.

The full author list is also in the `authors` field of [Get a project](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/project/get-project.md).

## Response

**data** `object[]`

List of the project's authors.

**properties of each author**

**id** `string`

Author identifier.

**full\_name** `string`

Full name.

**first\_names** `string[] | null`

First names.

**last\_names** `string[] | null`

Last names.

**sex** `string | null`

Sex of the author.

**affiliations** `object[]`

Author's affiliations: `id`, `name`, `types`, `start_date`, `end_date`.

**external\_ids** `object[]`

External identifiers: scienti, ORCID, Scholar, etc.

**ranking** `object[] | null`

Author classifications (for example, from Minciencias).

**h\_index** `integer | null`

H-index.

**h5\_index** `integer | null`

H-index of the last 5 years.

**type** `string | null`

Role of the author in the product, when the source records it (for example,
in theses).

**countries** `string[] | null`

Countries associated with the author.

**meta** `object`

Query metadata, with the same shape as in lists: `count` and `size` are `1`,
`page` is `1`, `cursor.next` and `cursor.previous` are `null`, and
`db_response_time_ms` is the database response time.
