# Author co-authorship network

> Co-authorship network between the author and their most frequent collaborators.

Co-authorship network between the author and their most frequent collaborators. Chart type: **Network**.

Nodes represent authors. Edges represent collaborations (co-authorships). At most the 50 nodes with the highest degree are returned.

## Parameters

**person\_id** `string` *required*

Author identifier.

**plot** `string` *required*

Must be `author_coauthorship_network`.

It also accepts the [product filters](https://help.impactu.colav.co/en/api-reference/person/get-research-products.md). `max`, `page` and `sort` do not apply.

## Response

**nodes** `object[]`

Network nodes (up to 50, sorted by descending degree).

**properties of each node**

**id** `string`

Author identifier.

**label** `string`

Author name.

**degree** `integer`

Number of connections of the node.

**size** `float`

Visual size of the node, proportional to its relevance.

**edges** `object[]`

Edges between the nodes included in the response.

**properties of each edge**

**source** `string`

Source node identifier.

**target** `string`

Target node identifier.

**coauthorships** `integer`

Number of co-authored products between the two authors.

**size** `float`

Visual thickness of the edge.
